Problem: A dangerous situation was created when a new automated design required the operator to manipulate moving parts.
Solution: To increase safety, we implemented safety scanners, double redundancy, over travel limits, air purge and cylinder locking. |
Result: Increased safety to operators. TechElectric Automation exceeded requirements of Honda’s Safety Committee.

Problem: Multiple entry points into hazardous moving equipment results in an unsafe work environment for the operator.
Solution: Implementation of safety PLC with intelligent door switches accompanying the safety guarding throughout 800 feet of conveyor system. |
Result: Operator can identify which doors are open, decreasing areas of danger for the operator. The system is approved by WorkSafe, British Columbia.
