Check These Things Before Calling an Electrician

It makes sense to call an electrician first when a machine fails but it might not be necessary.

Check these items before you call us:
  • The guarding is in place.
  • The part or material is properly loaded.
  • There are no broken parts obstructing the process.

Understand how the machine operates normally. There are safety applications that guard the machine from someone entering an area that is dangerous and/or the electrical system is set up to protect the machine from damaging itself. These safety applications are rarely recognized by machine operators. They run silently in the background and don’t contribute to the production. A safety component could be broken or not working properly and the machine will stop and may alert you.

At TechElectric we want to educate you first so that you can correct your machinery, save time and money. If at any time you feel unsure or unsafe, please call us 24/7, we can often solve problems quickly over the phone at no charge.
